The protest of the opposition against the passing of the bill on the principles of the state language policy calmly continues near the Ukrainian House.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, there are several hundreds of people on the porch and the stairs of the Ukrainian House. The protesters are holding national flags and flags of the oppositional political forces.

Around 300 young people spent last night near the Ukrainian House.

In the morning, a minor conflict occurred between the protesters and law enforcers, when the protesters started installing sun umbrellas, while the police thought that they were going to put up tents, which is forbidden. The situation became intense, but stabilized after a while.

Policemen are standing on one side near the central entrance of the Ukrainian House. There are no Berkut special police officers on the site today, although they guarded public order on Wednesday.

The policemen installed a low metallic fence on the left of the central entrance to bar the protesters from it.
