There is no threat of racism in Ukraine, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka has said.

"There is no threat, there are no many [cases of racism] here," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

At the same time, the prosecutor general noted that in Ukraine there were only isolated cases of racially motivated crimes. At the same time, he declined to say what articles the relevant criminal cases were opened, but the perpetrators have been brought to justice.

Pshonka said that all reports on this subject, particularly in the Western media, are subjective.

"There are some reports [made] from a subjective viewpoint," he said.
