You're reading: Publisher of Vesti newspaper leave eponymous holding, sells stake

The publisher of Vesti newspaper Ihor Huzhva has left the Vesti Ukraine media holding and sold his stake in it, the holding's press service reported on July 30.

“In his address, Huzhva thanked the employees for their joint work and wished them success in the further realization of the project: “I want to say that I’ve decided to leave the Vesti Ukraine media holding and sold my stake of corporate rights in the media holding. I’m also leaving the post of editor-in-chief of the Vesti newspaper,” the press service said, citing Huzhva.

Since July 29 Huzhva, has not managed the holding and has no right to comment on behalf of the holding.

Official rights to all the assets belong to Media Holding Vesti Ukraine (Cyprus).

The board of directors headed by Olha Semchenko will manage the holding.

At present, the holding includes UBR TV, VESTI radio station, VESTI daily newspaper, vest-ukr.com website and VESTI.REPORTER magazine.
