Ukraine's parliament has accepted the resignation of Ihor Sorkin as governor of the National Bank of Ukraine and appointed Stepan Kubiv, ex-chief of Lviv Kredobank, in his place.
A total of 310 MPs voted for this decision.
“I promise a huge job, transparency of the NBU’s work for us today to say that Ukraine is a great market, a platform for investments, Ukraine is fair people, and that one could deposit money with the banks,” he said the voting came to an end.
