The Verkhovna Rada has failed to adopt draft law No. 2060-a on introducing a moratorium on funds recovery from PJSC Chornomornaftogaz by Jan. 1, 2017.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the parliament is likely to return to the issue at a later date.

Chornomornaftogaz, after the annexation of Crimea, re-registered in Kyiv and kept only three troubled asset located outside of the peninsula.

According to the company’s latest quarterly report for the third quarter of 2014, its liabilities to banks amounted to Hr 475.6 million, in particular overdue liabilities totaled Hr 245.2 million, and tax liabilities stood at Hr 96.4 million.

In addition, the debt on repayable financial assistance reached Hr 12.086 billion, total liabilities – Hr 12.746 billion.
