The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has considered 180 out of the 3,716 proposed amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code.
During a plenary sitting in the morning, the parliament passed the first chapter of the code at second reading.
The first chapter consists of six articles.
The Criminal Procedure Code consists of 46 chapters (and final provisions) and 614 articles.
