The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified an agreement between the Ukrainian and Romanian governments on the mutual protection of information with restricted access. A total of 282 MPs voted in favor of ratification on July 1.

The agreement was signed on October 22, 2013 in Bucharest. It establishes an equal partnership o in the information exchange process and makes the parties take necessary steps to protect information with restricted access found during cooperation.
