Moscow - The Russian consumer protection watchdog Rospotrebnadzor has completed an inspection of the fourth Ukrainian dairy factory Dubnomoloko, which plans to export cheese to the Russian market, and found technology flaws in its operations.

"Our specialists are returning to Moscow today. The problems are the same: violations of production technology," Rospotrebnadzor chief and Russian chief public health official Gennady Onishchenko told Interfax on Thursday, April 26.

"Recommendations have been given to eliminate the flaws. As regards the resumption of shipments of Ukrainian products, this will be done in line with agreements that have been reached," Onishchenko said.

Meanwhile, Vitaliy Bashynsky, the director of the Ukrainian Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service’s Veterinary Medicine Department, said on Wednesday that the Ukrainian cheese factories that had already been inspected by Russian specialists were still unable to ship their products to the Russian market, despite Rospotrebnadzor’s official permission.
