Russian servicemen continue blocking the Crimea ferry line, the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported.
According to the press service, almost a hundred armed Russian servicemen and some fifty people of the so-called self-defense are currently staying at the checkpoint. Through the use of physical force they made it impossible to carry out border control procedures.
“Over the past two days, two provocations took place in the Crimea check point in the course of which Russian military helped two army columns to break through the border. They pushed away representatives of all controlling services and shortly after fifteen KamAZ trucks without number plates burst through the border. The vehicles included a fuel servicing truck and a communications service truck. Some time later, Russian servicemen let through another ten trucks, six Ural trucks and an ambulance,” the State Border Service said.
Besides, equipment and provisions are brought by ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Two Russian landing ships brought first, eighteen trucks with food, and then seventeen trucks and one 17 through Kazachya Bay to Crimea, the press service said.
