You're reading: Savik Shuster Studio exit poll: Klitschko gets 57.4 percent of the vote in Kyiv mayoral election

The exit poll, conducted by sociologists of the Savik Shuster Studio, shows that 57.4% of Kyiv residents voted for candidate for Kyiv mayor, Leader of the UDAR parliamentary faction Vitali Klitschko in the May 25 elections.

His closest rival, Maidan’s activist Lesia Orobets, mustered 10.3% of
the vote, according the exit poll results announced on UT-1 TV Channel
on Sunday evening.

A total of 8.2% of Kyivans voted for incumbent head of Kyiv City
State Administration Volodymyr Bondarenko, 6.1% for ex-mayor of Kyiv
Oleksandr Omelchenko, 5.2% for European Party leader MP Mykola
Katerynchuk, and 3.1% for MP Andriy Illenko of the Svoboda Party.

As reported, all in all 19 candidates ran for the mayor of Kyiv in the May 25 elections.
