The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has forcedly sent back to Russia two Russian citizens, representatives of the LifeNews TV channel, and informed them that they are banned entry to Ukraine for three years.

“On April 25 the SBU returned to Russia two Russian citizens,
representatives of the LifeNews TV channel,” the Security Service told
Interfax on Friday.

According to SBU, journalists received the decision on their
compulsory return to Russia in Donetsk on Friday. The reporters were
accompanied to the Russian border and given to Russian border guards at
the Uspenka checkpoint.

The forceful return to Russia stipulates a three-year ban.

The reporters were deported because “they circulated biased
information” and “contributed to tensions in society and separatist
movements and justified illegitimate actions of separatists aimed at
encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity,” the Security Service
said.
