You're reading: Political scientist Fesenko got message claiming responsibility for Buzyna, Kalashnikov’s murders from German mail

Volodymyr Fesenko, a political scientist and the head of the applied political studies center Penta, received an email containing a statement by the 'Ukrainian Insurgent Army' claiming responsibility for the killings of prominent politician Oleh Kalashnikov and journalist Oles Buzyna which was sent from a webmail service located in Germany.

This was reported by advisor to Security Service of Ukraine chief Markiyan Lubkivsky.

“As a result of studying the technical properties of the letter, which came to the personal e-mail of Mr. Fesenko, the SBU has determined that the message was sent through the service of a one-time e-mail addresses located on the company’s hosting, located in Germany,” he wrote on his Facebook page on April 17.
