You're reading: Shokin says Yanukovych, accomplices to receive suspicion notices soon

Ukraine's Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin has said that notices of suspicion will be handed to Viktor Yanukovych and his accomplices in the very near future.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office has practically completed preparing the notice to Yanukovych and others that they are suspected of having committed crimes stipulated in Article 255 part one (“Creation of a criminal organization”), Article 364 (“Abuse of power”) and Article 111 (“Treason”), and these filings will be handed in the very near future,” the prosecutor general told a press conference in Kyiv on July 28.
