Sixty-six Ukrainian border guards have been killed and 397 have been wounded since the beginning of the military operation in Donbas, the press service for the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service reported on Oct. 7.
“Since the situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions aggravated, border guards have defended key sites and fulfilled their duties. Unfortunately, 66 border guards were killed in clashes. Another 397 troops were wounded,” the report says.
