German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will go on a two-day trip to Ukraine on May 29-May 30, German website www.n-tv.de has reported citing German Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Schaefer.

On Friday, May 29, Steinmeier will meet with the Ukrainian political leadership, and on Saturday, May 30, he will go to Dnipropetrovsk in eastern Ukraine.

In Dnipropetrovsk, Steinmeier will meet with members of the OSCE monitoring mission.

“We are seriously concerned about the situation in eastern Ukraine, because so far the durable and sustainable ceasefire has not been established,” the website quoted Schaefer as saying.
