The armed group has kidnapped Ukrainian citizen who is an authorized representative of presidential candidate and Svoboda Party leader Oleh Tiahnybok, Oleh Demko, in Makiyivka of Donetsk region, Novosti Donbassa local edition reported. Demko was in his private house in Makiyivka.
“At 11:25, Demko telephoned his party colleague Pavlo Derkachenko. The latter heard everything what was going on and according to his words [Demko] was beaten and questioned for the purpose to know where is the money, where is the weapon and who presents the leadership of Makiyivka town organization of Svoboda,” the edition said.
Derkachenko said that afterwards his fellow was put into the car and brought to the premises of Donetsk regional state administration.
“During the whole week he has been receiving threats,” said the edition.
