Unidentified assailants attacked the Svoboda opposition party's office in Dnipropetrovsk early on Tuesday.

Nine athletic-looking men broke into the office last night and
knocked down the security guard. As two of the attackers were holding
the security guard, the others were breaking the doors, and smashing the
windows, computers and furniture, the party’s regional organization
said on its Web site.

In a separate incident, two 19 year-old local residents torched the
party’s office in the town of Zhovti Vody in Dnipropetrovsk region on
Monday evening.

“They lit a fuse at the entrance to the public reception office and
threw it into the office. The doors were damaged in the fire. The flames
were localized and the assailants were detained,” the posting says.
