Olha Bohomolets, a parliamentarian and the Ukrainian president's adviser, said three people were seriously injured near the Verkhovna Rada on Aug. 31.

One person “with a fragmentation brain injury is in the Interior Ministry’s hospital, he is unstable, on ALV, in a 3rd degree coma and has an extensive brain edema. Two of the seriously injured people continue to receive treatment in Hospital 17 and one is in a military hospital. Their condition is serious but stable,” Bohomolets said on Facebook on Sept. 4.

People who have sustained minor injuries have recently been transferred from the healthcare establishment where they received treatment (the military hospital, the 17th Clinical Hospital and Oleksandrivska Hospital) to the Interior Ministry’s Central Hospital, where 83 injured people are being treated.

Bohomolets emphasized that some people who have minor injuries have been transferred to their local healthcare establishments in Kherson and Cherkassy, and the transfer will continue. Another 11 wounded have been discharged and will undergo medical rehabilitation.
