Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and three more wounded by a land mine explosion in Yekaterynivka, Luhansk Oblast, head of the Kyiv-appointed regional administration Hennadiy Moskal announced.

“A combat reconnaissance vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a mine planted near the village of Yekaterynivka, Popasna district, at about 4 p.m. on May 3. Two servicemen (aged 30 and 40) died on the spot, three others were hospitalized with wounds,” a report of Moskal’s press service circulated on May 4 says.
