Two servicemen of the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed and another two suffered injuries near the village of Bolotene in the Stanytsia Luhanska district of the Luhansk Oblast on Sept. 7.

The injured soldiers are receiving medical aid, the Luhansk regional military-civilian administration said in a report posted on its website on Sept. 8.

“A terrorist sabotage-and-reconnaissance group must have penetrated the Stanytsia Luhanska district to take away the bodies of their fellows whose death was broadly covered by Ukrainian media yesterday. The police are establishing the identity of the slain saboteurs,” Luhansk regional military-civilian administration head Heorhiy Tuka said.

Ruslan Tkachuk, a representative of law enforcement agencies in the Luhansk Oblast, said in a report posted on his official website on Monday that Ukrainian servicemen had found dead five men wearing Luhansk People’s Republic militants uniforms in the Stanytsia Luhanska district of the Luhansk Oblast. The men were killed in a mine explosion.
