You're reading: UEFA releases ticket prices for Euro 2012

Europe’s top governing body on Feb. 15 announced how much tickets will cost for each type of match for the Euro 2012 soccer championship being co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland June 8- July 1.

Ticket prices will range from $37.50 to $750 depending on where venue seats are located and for which match during the 31-match, 16-team final tournament to name Europe’s top team for the next four years.

Category I tickets, which seat fans in the main and opposite stands of stadiums range from $150 to $750 depending on the match.

Category II tickets, which seat fans in the corners and behind the goals on the upper tier range from $87.50 to $412.50.

And Category III tickets, which seat fans behind the goals on the lower tier range from $37.50 to $62.50.

Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Prices are subject to an additional administrative fee to cover handling and secure courier delivery.

Residents of Ukraine and Poland are allowed to pay in their local currencies via credit card or bank transfer payments.

Ticket applications are being accepted exclusively on uefa.com only through the month of March. An independently audited ticket lottery then will be held in April for approximately 600,000 tickets.
