You're reading: Ukraine bus crash kills 14 Russians

A bus crashed in northern Ukraine on Saturday morning, killing 14 people and injuring 22, the Emergencies Ministry said.

The bus, with 41 people on board, came off the road and
rolled over near the city of Chernihiv at 5.30 a.m. local time
(0230 GMT), the ministry said in a statement.

All of the casualties were the Russian pilgrims.

The bus was heading from Velikiye Luki, the Pskov region of Russia, to
the Pochayiv Monastery in Ternopil region, western Ukraine, the Interfax news agency reported.

The most probable reason of the accident – the driver lost control over the bus.
