Kyiv and Brussels are discussing the technical details of the provision of the EU macro-financial assistance for Ukraine, EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn has said.

The decision to allocate 1.8 billion euro has been transferred to the legal field, and now the conditions for the disbursement of these funds should be agreed, Hahn said at the International Support Conference for Ukraine in Kyiv on April 28.

He said he had discussed this issue with the Ukrainian finance minister, prime minister and the president, and that the Ukrainian government is working on this.

Hahn expects that the first response will arrive this week or next week, and a decision about the conditions for the allocation of these funds will be made soon.
