Ukraine and Norway have agreed on cooperation in nuclear and radiation safety issues.

The corresponding agreement between the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine and Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority was inked in Kyiv on Tuesday, Nov. 18, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

A joint statement by Ukraine, Norway and Sweden on cooperation in nuclear and radiation safety issues was signed as well.

A delegation from Norway headed by country’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg is visiting Ukraine on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
