You're reading: Ukrainian Air Force plane comes under fire over Sloviansk, no one hurt

 Unidentified gunmen have fired several shots at a Ukrainian Air Force aircraft over Sloviansk, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement. "Unidentified people shot firearms at an An-30 plane that was on a supervisory flight over Sloviansk on April 22," it said.

 Several bullets hit the plane, but the crew managed to land at the plane’s home airfield, it said.

The incident did not cause casualties, and the plane’s combat capability was restored after a detailed examination, it said.
