SEOUL – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will meet with European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso during the Seoul Nuclear Security Summit on March 27, Ukraine's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Vasyl Marmazov has said.
"The European Union has confirmed the meetings with European Council president Rompuy and European Commission President Barroso. But the time is being agreed," he told reporters in Seoul on March26.
At the same time, Marmazov said that they had already arranged the time of meetings of the Ukrainian president with the president of Indonesia, the UN secretary general, and the president and prime minister of South Korea.
The ambassador also said that Yanukovych would have an opportunity to meet with world leaders both during a working lunch and during a gala dinner at the end of the summit.
During his visit to South Korea, the Ukrainian president will meet with representatives of Hyundai Corporation and Samsung, on March 28, Marmazov added.
