Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara has warned foreign policymakers against interference in Ukraine's internal affairs.

“We listen to advice from our foreign friends if they are friends but we resolve our problems on our own,” Kozhara said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday in commenting on foreign politicians’ visits to the opposition demonstration on Independence Square in central Kyiv.

Ukraine welcomes visits of foreign politicians if they have no intention of interfering in its internal affairs, he said.

“Ukraine is a sovereign state, and it should make decisions on its own. We do not allow interference in our internal affairs. Nobody is allowed to openly meddle in internal national processes that are taking place in the country today,” Kozhara said.
