The Ukrainian Armed Forces divisions armed with BM-21 (Grad) multiple rocket launchers have been removed in Luhansk Oblast as stipulated in Minsk agreements, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on its website.

The launch vehicles were accompanied throughout the itinerary by OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) observers who ensured their removal at over 35 kilometers from the dividing line, in accordance with the obligations assumed by Ukraine, the ministry said.
After receiving the order this morning, artillery crews started moving the vehicles to a certain area, accompanied by OSCE observers, a senior military officer said.
It was reported that Ukraine was removing Grad rocket launchers from the dividing line in eastern Ukraine and was planning to start removing Uragan multiple rocket launchers on March 6.
“Yesterday we began the second stage of removing military hardware, including 152 millimeter Akatsiya artillery vehicles. We also continue removing Grad multiple rocket launchers. According to the latest figures, tomorrow the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to start removing Uragan multiple rocket launchers,” anti-terrorist operation spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing on March 5.
