The U.S. Senate, notwithstanding the objections of the White House, has approved a bill that would provide $300 million in military assistance to Ukraine, the Ukrainian service of Radio Svoboda has reported.

According to the report, the bill foresees the provision of radars, antitank weapons and other military aid.

Earlier the U.S. House of Representatives passed other version of the bill, and now the final bill is to be agreed.

U.S. President Barack Obama has threatened to veto the bill over some issues, which are not linked to Ukraine.
