Opposition Bloc candidate Oleksandr Vilkul received 37.94 percent of the vote and UKROP candidate Borys Filatov received 35.78 percent of the vote in the first round of Dnipropetrovsk mayoral election.
The Central Election Commission has published the result on its website.
Civil Force candidate Zahid Krasnov came third with 12.42 percent of the vote.
Vilkul and Filatov will now go head to head in the second round of the election.
