Ukrainian Premier Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the person responsible for throwing a grenade near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Monday must be sentenced to life imprisonment.
“As a citizen of the country, I require life imprisonment for the person who threw the grenade, in accordance with Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and as a result a soldier of the National Guard was killed,” Yatseniuk said while delivering a speech on the incident on Aug. 31.
