The forest fire that broke out on April 28 in the exclusion zone of the Chоrnobyl nuclear power plant in Kyiv Oblast is the biggest since 1992, however, the situation is controllable, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said.

“The situation is under control but this is the biggest fire since 1992. We have not had a fire of such scale,” he said to journalists at Kyiv’s Zhuliany airport after returning from the fire scene on April 28 evening.
