MOSCOW – Moscow cafes and restaurants will not serve visitors at night-time again due to an increase in the cases of COVID-19 recorded in the city, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

“Services to visitors at night-time, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. are banned at public dining venues, such as restaurants, cafes, bars, as well as night clubs, karaoke venues, bowling alleys, discotheques, and other entertainment facilities,” Sobyanin wrote on his blog.

An exception will be made for takeaway services, he said.
