The European Union has approved €1.2B in emergency aid for Ukraine, POLITICO, which covers political issues in the EU, reports.
It noted that the first tranche of €600 million in loans to Ukraine, as it works to secure its economy and security in the face of the ongoing crisis involving Russia, will be handed out swiftly.
