Armin van Buuren
DJ and producer Armin van Buuren is bringing his latest album to Kyiv. He plays trance-style music, and his tracks are recognizable all over the world. Dj Magazine’s Top 100 named him a #2 Dj of 2013 and van Buuren proudly carries the title. Every show the artist performs is filled with good dance music and positive vibes.

Global Village
Dream Town invites you to get to know the world cultures, talk to their representatives and take part in a variety of master classes. Volunteers from Georgia, Brazil, China, Columbia, Vietnam, India, Greece and many other countries are eager to share their customs and represent their cultures to Kyivans. Musical entertainment will be provided by a Michael Jackson cover band, MJ Project.

English Movie Club: “My Best Friend’s Girl” By Howard Deutsch
English speaking club invites everyone on Sunday, Dec. 22. to the Freud House. There, one can participate in a discussion in English over a cup of coffee and play a variety of board games. Screening of the movie will be in English- everyone is welcome to stay and chat about it later.

CirkAfrika show
Paris circus “Phoenix” is back in Kyiv after their triumphant performance earlier this year. The circus is bringing a new, exiting show CirkAfrika. The audience will get to see the story of a pilot, who, after a plane crash, ends up at a new, unexplored island. The performance will be accompanied by the African Orchestra. The show’s slogan is “Open Your Heart to Africa.”

African Winter
Art- gallery “Minus 4” invites everyone to get to know African crafts and customs. Masks, traditional costumes, contemporary art of the best African artists are going to be on display here. There will be objects used for a variety of rituals, elements of décor, works by artists from Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, Chad, Congo, South Africa and many other countries. “Minus 4” is the only art gallery in Kyiv that works till midnight.

Winter Fairytale in Ancient Kyiv at Kyivan Rus Park
The Kyivan Rus Park will turn into The Winter Fairytale in Ancient Kyiv to celebrate the season. Everyone will get a chance to visit the main residence of Santa Claus (everyone knows that it’s located in Kyiv region, right?). You can walk through snow-covered streets of a medieval town, ride a horse or a sleigh. Both Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden will greet you, and you will be able to watch theatrical performances, ritual ceremonies, trick-horse show, snowballs fights and lots of other fun things. Everyone will receive a nice gift.

Expat community’s New Year’s party in Pravda Bar
For those staying in Kyiv to celebrate the New Year, the Kyiv InterNations Club has an offer.
