You're reading: Ukrainian project makes top-20 European list of startups

 A pet entertainment device invented by a Ukrainian was selected to Berlin’s Seedcamp Week taking place on May 12-15 in Germany.

Called
Petcube, the Ukraine-based project is one of 20 companies chosen to participate
in the four-day event that gathers the best early-stage European startups.

 If chosen,
Petcube could win early-stage investment for its project.

Seedcamp
invited top European investment funds to join the event, including Index
Ventures, Point Nine Capital, Balderton Capital, BDMI, Earlybird, DFJ Esprit
and T-Venture.

Petcube was
founded by Aleksandr Neskin of Prodigi agency. It produces a cube-like gadget that
helps owners remotely play and interact with their pets using their smartphones
or other mobile devices.
