Ukraine celebrates an unofficial holiday dedicated to the traditional Ukrainian clothing – vyshyvanka today, on May 18. The Day of Vyshyvanka was established in 2007 and since then it is marked annually.

On this day, the citizens of the country are called upon to put on embroidered shirts and wear them both on the streets and on business meetings. This is done as a sign of unity and respect for our Motherland.
