Kiasmos
Kyiv welcomes the world-known Icelandic duo Kiasmos, the collaborative project of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen. Combining piano and electronic music, the band rose to fame in 2012, with the release of their extended play “Thrown.” Kiasmos will present some of their techno and electronic hits at Green Theater, on Aug. 18.

‘Amy’
This Oscar-winning documentary depicting the life and death of iconic British singer Amy Winehouse is to be screened in Kyiv in English. Released in 2015, the film hasn’t been shown in Ukraine so far. Directed by British filmmaker Asif Kapadia, the documentary highlights the success and recognition gained by the outstanding singer, as well as the tragic end to her life – with substance abuse and eventual death.

Vinyl Vibes
Kyiv’s UBK Club located near the bank of the Dnipro River, will hold a series of parties, where they will play music from vinyl records. The parties are to be held every Sunday starting at 4 p.m. and lasting until closing time at 2 a.m. Enjoy vinyl music, charming scenery, food and drinks. Entry is free.

O.Torvald
This will be the band’s last concert before a year-long creative break. Before representing Ukraine at the Eurovision in 2017, O.Torvald already had quite a successful musical career. They have been playing since 2005, releasing five studio albums, and toured continually in Ukraine. The concert in Kyiv will complete their 2018 tour around Ukraine and Europe.
