Vintage Charity Market

Everyone has experienced buying an item of clothing, wearing it once or twice, and then leaving it hanging in the wardrobe for good. The Vintage Charity Market encourages people to donate these unwanted clothes, which it sells and then gives all the earnings to charity. On Sept. 9, the market will offer various vintage clothes, shoes and accessories to raise money for equipment for a Kyiv hospital. The market was previously held three times in Odesa and now it is to have its debut in Ukraine’s capital. To donate items, contact the organizers via phone +38095 513 1313.

Set in present-day London and refreshed with modern characters, the adaptation aims to preserve the original’s study of power and class while making it relatable to new audiences. The new Julie is a spoiled and lonely daughter of a rich tycoon, who seduces her father’s chauffeur Jean, a black economic migrant. Some fatal consequences ensue.
