‘Guardians of Dreams’ (3D show)

This 3D show, a combination of acrobatics, dance, 3D technology and singing, will entertain both children and adults. The plot centers around a boy who meets a magic cat called Dreamkeeper. Together they overcome their fears and fight evil.

Chemistry tricks, acrobatics, сlowns, and an optical illusion performance – the Kobzov circus brings to the stage its new Magic Kingdom show. This circus is registered in the Book of Records of Ukraine as the largest circus in the country. Throughout the year it travels around the country, but it always comes back to Kyiv around New Year to show off its best talents.

Christmas Jazz Songs – Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald

Christmas is coming and that means it’s time to turn on the fairy lights, decorate homes and put on some jazz classics, or better listen to them played live. Two vocalists and participants of the Voice Ukraine Anyanya Udongwo and Kemi Oke will give a performance accompanied by musicians from the Pavel Ignatyev Quartet. The artists will sing famous jazz compositions by two iconic singers: Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

Musical ‘Follies’

New York, 1971. Thirty years after their final performance, the Follies girls gather at the Weismann Theater to have a party before the building is demolished. They have some drinks, perform their old songs and lie about themselves. “Follies” was nominated for 11 Tony Awards and won seven of them. The world-known musical by American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim is to be screened in Kyiv.

Art of Female Orgasm

Ukrainian artists will present their paintings, sculptures and photo collages devoted to female sexuality. The organizers want to lift the taboo on the topic of orgasm through the artworks and encourage women to openly speak about their sexual satisfaction.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Christmas and New Year holidays celebration will start with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Sofiivska Square in the heart of Kyiv on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. There will be music and dance performances, a food court and various tents with souvenirs and Christmas-themed presents.
