Years & Years

British synth-pop band Years & Years is coming to rock Ukraine’s capital for the first time. The band was founded in 2010 and it currently consists of three members – Olly Alexander, Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Turkmen. ‘Radio and Juliet’

An extraordinary ballet “Radio and Juliet” is where the classics and modernity collide. Staged by Romanian choreographer Edward Clug, the ballet retells the iconic love story by William Shakespeare “Romeo and Juliet.” However, in this ballet, there is a special place for the third main character – music by the no less iconic English rock band Radiohead. “Radio and Juliet” is praised for outstanding choreography subtly performed by The Great Gatsby Ballet to songs from Radiohead albums like “O.K. Computer,” ”Kid A” and ”Amnesiac.” The evening will end with another dancing performance by Clug: 20-minute “Quatro” is a sensuous story about feelings.

“Radio and Juliet.” Zhovtnevyi Palace (1 Heroiv Nebesnoi Sotni Alley). Feb. 11. 7 p.m. Hr 280-1,850
