The day of the second Eurovision’s semi-final has come. The show that starts at 10 p.m. Kyiv time on May 11 will see 18 participants from Serbia, Austria, Macedonia, Malta, Romania, Netherlands, Hungary, Denmark, Ireland, San Marino, Croatia, Norway, Switzerland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, and Israel.

Contestants will present their songs at International Exhibition Center, main Eurovision venue.

Producers of the show say they have prepared plenty of surprises for Eurovision fans. Hosts of the show will present their own performances. Oleksander Skichko will play Ukrainian traditional wooden variety of flute, and Volodymir Ostapchuk an accordion. They will also dance and sing fragments of the most famous Eurovision songs – Loreen`s hit “Euphoria”, Sweden’s winning song of 2012, 2005 winning song “My number one” by Helena Paparizou from Greece, Alexander Rybak`s “Fairytale”  that won Eurovision for Norway in 2009, and “Rise like a Phoenix” by 2014 Austrian winner Conchita Wurst.

Aside from contestants, Ukrainian music band G-Art will also perform new adaptations of the world-known hits, and dancing group Apache Crew plans to impress viewers with a new production.

In the end of the show, hosts will name 10 contestants that managed to get to the final of Eurovision.
