Hollywood actress Debbie Reynolds, best known for her role in Singin’ in the Rain, has died at the age of 84, just one day after the death of her daughter Carrie Fisher.
US media said the star, who played opposite Gene Kelly in the 1952 musical when she was just 19, suffered a stroke on Dec. 28 and was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles where she later died.
