Italian brand Diesel has returned to Kyiv to shoot yet another commercial for their newest line of jeans – this time with a take on today’s dating scene.

In the cafeteria of the Kyiv’s Rybalsky Kuznya shipyard, a young man ponders the intricacies of online dating sites after each blind date is more disappointing than the previous one.

It’s a good thing he was wearing the Diesel jeans, which, according to the commercial, are made for running: The date with a woman, played by Ukrainian supermodel Victoria Rogalchuk, was the one that broke the camel’s back, so the character makes a mad dash for the exit. He bumps into another Ukrainian supermodel, Alexandra Popruga, during his hasty exit, however, this time it’s she who decides to run away.

The Ukrainian production company Radioaktive Film directed the shoot, and it marks the third time that Diesel chose Ukraine as the site of their advertising campaigns. Diesel managed to take advantage of  Kyiv’s beauty with an urban landscape of the unfinished metro bridge in Podil shown in brand’s first commercial, and the wealth of modeling talent that is flourishing in Ukraine in the second one.
