Kyiv’s Vydubychi subway station can be seen in the new commercial of Lacoste, a high-end French clothing brand.

The commercial, titled “Timeless,”  is a short film that features a man and a woman who fall in love at the first sight and travel through time to meet again. Their clothes and hairstyles change, but the Lacoste polo shirt stays the same.

The video was shot in three locations: the Kyiv metro, a railway station and the train museum in Budapest, and a green-screen studio for filming stunts.

The shooting in Kyiv took just one day, according to the visual effects supervisor Stéphane Allender’s interview to fxguide.com.

Ukrainian company Radioaktive Film contributed to the production of the video along with Hungarian Pioneer Pictures. Radioaktive Film previously contributing to producing the music video “Nobody Speak” by the American hip-hop duo Run the Jewels.

The Lacoste video was directed by Seb Edwards. This is one of the numerous collaborations between Lacoste and the British director. Back in 2014 he shot “The Big Leap” commercial for Lacoste.
