Restaurants St. Valentine’s Day in Tea Club

For a calm and warm atmosphere, try a romantic tea ceremony at Tea Club restaurant in Kyiv. The owners say a couple can opt for an individual tea brewing workshop and won’t be distracted by any shows or loud music, so they can fully enjoy each other’s company.

 5-year anniversary of Nebos

Here’s an option for vegetarian couples: This raw vegan restaurant is celebrating its fifth anniversary and is holding a two-day event on Feb. 13–14 that will also be dedicated to the Valentine’s Day. Guests can attend discussions about love and relationships and see a show by the band Vinnichenko.

For dessert, sweethearts can try Nebos raw sweets — for example, a heart-shaped cake with strawberries and almonds, covered with chocolate.

Hot St. Valentine’s Day

Mexican restaurant Rojo Ojo invites couples to enjoy a “hot celebration” of Valentine’s Day. Apart from festive Mexican food, the program includes live saxophone music, an intriguing “Mexican surprise,” and gifts from the restaurant’s partner Wine Bureau.

Jazz Love Songs

Concert agency Svitlo Concert invites jazz fans to a special Valentine’s Day show. Ukrainian jazz singers and musicians — Dmytro Alexandrov, Pavlo Halytskyi, Yuriy Salukha, and Dmytro Teymurazov, along with the famous Kyiv Virtuosi chamber orchestra will perform jazz hits about love.

Eve Cornelious

This Valentine’s Day New York jazz singer Eve Cornelious will perform her music program “American Love Songs” in Kyiv. Cornelious started singing at the age of three, but became famous much later, after winning The BET Jazz Discovery Award on American TV. Since then, she has performed in Japan, Cuba, the United States and Europe.
