Lviv has become the first Ukrainian city to enter the top 100 tourist cities of Europe, occupying 64th spot among 126 destinations on the continent, Lviv City Council’s press service has reported, with reference to the Lviv-based Tourism Development Center.
“London was again the most popular city in 2017, with a 4.7% increase in the number of nights spent by tourists compared with 2016. The first five also includes Paris (+9.3%), Berlin (+0.2%), Rome (+2.4%) and Madrid (+6.4%). Lviv is 64th among 126 European cities in this ranking. Ahead of us are Antwerp, Vilnius, Bruges, Gdansk, Malmo, Zagreb, and behind us are Innsbruck, Bilbao, Ljubljana, Basel, Graz, Lucerne, Poznan, and others,” the report says.
