Ukrainian producers follow one of the hot trends of the summer and design their own temporary tattoos collections, with body art that is cheap, applied quickly with no pain, and can be removed easily.
The Kyiv Post has already written about temporary tattoos with lines from the classic Ukrainian poetry made by online magazine Platfor.ma. They were issued before Arsenal International Book Festival, the annual book fair at Mystetskyi Arsenal that took place in Kyiv in May.
Later Ukrainian store Vsi Svoi has created a pack of tattoos dedicated to the Atlas Weekend music festival held at VDNH Exhibition Center from June 28 to July 2. The tattoos feature quotes from the songs of the headliners of the festival – Monatik, The Prodigy, Ivan Dorn, Pianoboy, Kasabian, Bondage Fairies, Boombox, Röyksopp.
However, the temporary tattoo craze is still getting bigger, with at least four Ukrainian companies now producing temporary tattoos featuring their own original designs.
The tattoos are temporary and last only for a couple of days. To apply them, a person peels back the cover, places the transfer on the skin, moistens it with water, and keeps it pressed on the skin for several minutes. The design then remains on the skin when the paper backing is peeled away.

Coper
Coper is a young brand founded in 2016. The company cooperates with Ukrainian artists, tattoo performers and illustrators who create sketches for the tattoos. Coper sells black and colorful tattoos of different shapes – animals, flowers, food, as well as movie and cartoon characters. They can last from three to seven days. This producer offers tattoos made in different sizes and styles, including colorful flamingos, unicorns, flowers, feathers, animals, jellyfishes and seahorses. Apart from that, Arley Sign sells completely white tattoos that stand out on tanned skin and contribute to a summer look. Their tattoos last from five to seven days and can be bought via phone orders, their Facebook page or at the Vsi Svoi store (27 Khreshchatyk St.)

Not Forever Tatts
This brand cooperates with Ukrainian artists and tattoo masters to create tender, minimalistic tattoos. Sold in sets that include from five to seven tattoos, they feature geometric shapes, animals, insects, plants, and flowers, all in black. They last from three to five days. Miami Tattoos
This producer sells a range of various tattoo sketches – silver and gold, colorful and black, small ones for fingers and big ones for ankles. These temporary tattoos are created in collaboration with Ukrainian and Russian illustrators, designers and tattoo artists. They are mostly sold as sets of two and more pieces and last from two to seven days.
