A song by a Ukrainian indie rock band Tik Tu was featured in a commercial of the British concept store Wolf & Badger.

The song “Malenki Malusiky” (“Teeny-Tiny Little Ones”) plays in the Spring/Summer 2017 video of the store.

“Malenki Malusiky” is a song from the band’s debut album “Shuma” released last year.

Tik Tu is an indie rock band based in Ternopil, a city in western Ukraine. It includes the lead singer Natalka Bahrii, guitarist and keyboard player Roman Bozhko, and drummer Lesyk Drachuk.

The band is currently recording a new album that is expected to be released by the end of the year.

Wolf & Badger was founded eight years ago as a retailer for independent brands. Today it includes two stores in London, one in New York, and an e-commerce website.

The commercial features young people dancing, playing sports, partying, and hanging out wearing clothes sold in Wolf & Badger.

The company found the song through Gnarles, an online platform for filmmakers to discover and license songs from emerging artists. It contains a catalog of songs by artists from all over the world and sells filmmakers the rights to use them.

Gnarles found out about Tik Tu from one of the band’s friends and offered cooperation, Bahrii told the Kyiv Post.

She says that Gnarles sells the rights for their songs, pays the band and earns some interest from each deal.
