You're reading: UNIAN: European Broadcasting Union confirms Eurovision-2017 to be held in Kyiv

During a meeting of the General Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in Lausanne, Switzerland Dec. 8 it was finally confirmed that the international song contest in the spring of 2017 will be hosted by Kyiv, “UA: Pershiy” reported.

This decision was made taking into account the report of the executive producers of the Eurovision-2017 Oleksandr Kharebin and Viktoria Romanova on the state of preparations for the competition. Therefore, in the future there can be no speculation regarding the host city of Eurovision-2017.
